Encaptured in Flowers

It was a delightful day that began meeting my friend at the Bellevue Botanical gardens where we had a nice, slowly paced chat walk....and me taking pics too....lots to discuss and then we picked up take out lunch and went to another park to picnic.  At the second park there is a heron rookery and the parent herons were flitting about in and out of the pond in search of food for the newly born babies...almost teenagers now.  So I decided to make the heron that was near us in the pond the centerpiece surrounded by some of the lovely flowers we saw at the Botanical Gardens.    Perhaps the last of glorious weather, but it was a relaxing and day shared with a close friend.  
   May you weekend by peaceful too with some joy shared with loved ones.  Stay safe....I'm prone to emphsize be safe as many are running nilly willy out to bars and restaurants where open despite warnings that we really aren't all that safe yet.  I'm going to follow science over politics any day.
