Grasmoor

With the Lake District now "open" to tourists (according to our esteemed PM) we drove over to Crummock today - parked in the lay by at the Buttermere end, and were the only car there (three there on our return).

Walked up Whiteless Pike, over Wandope and up Grasmoor, (saw no-one) descending via Lad's Howe (steep and shale-covered) to Rannerdale, where the numbers of people were higher. The car park at Rannerdale remains closed, with logs across the entrance. It didn't stop many from parking along the narrow road, including along the double yellow lines!

Rant over - the three fells were amazing, the views from the shelter at the top of Grasmoor were wonderful, Deb sitting down, waiting for me to open the lunch box, and stop taking photos.
