Castle Meredith

Castle Meredydd (Castle Meredith) or Machen Castle, nr Newport, South Wales (UK)

Quite a ruin now and covered by deep vegetation and trees, it was in the 12th century, captured 1236, and no longer mentioned in records after 1314.
