Disconnected

We have been disconnected from the world of Internet now for nearly a week. It has been a wake up call for us all! The kids have had to do homework without the use of the their net books, no social media ( mom I'm dying without my Facebook), I had to go back to an actual cookbook and one of the hardest things is no t.v.! We rely on a Slingbox thru the Internet so there have been no movies, news, or catching up on our favorite shows! We also depend on the Internet for our phone! So there have been no phone calls to family and friend back home!

What has this taught our family? Well I'd love to tell you some wonderful story of how we broke out the board games and dusted off a hard cover book, but honestly we've come to realize that our lives here in Belgium rely much more on the Internet than we had thought!

We realized that we are a family that needs to stay connected!
