When The Score Doesn't Really Matter

Our golf club opened again on Wednesday and today was the first chance that me and son Andy had to dust the clubs off. The standard of play was highly variable, no surprise. Andy did score better than me, no surprise, but we were just feeling very fortunate to have the opportunity when many have been adversely affected by COVID-19 and don't have the chance for at least some sense of normality.

The club staff have done a brilliant job of meeting the government's guidelines, everything was orderly, clear and sensible.

We shall be back out next week all being well.
