Saturday: Star Weekly

We went to Commercial Drive for a walk this morning.  Although a lot of the shops were closed there were enough places enough to give the Drive a bit of a buzz.  We bought a couple of books, and a crinkle tube for Barney (it’s been quite the success).  It felt nice to be out and about - as from Tuesday there is going to be some gentle easing of restrictions and we are so ready for that.

We watched ‘Becoming’ this afternoon.  It was a great documentary - I probably don’t need to add any comment on comparisons between the White House then and now.

I think I’ve missed a few book updates recently but I finished Lisa Brennan-Jobs’ memoir, ‘Small Fry’ this morning about her difficult relationship with her father, Steve Jobs.  She has a curious sense of entitlement but that notwithstanding, Steve Jobs does come off as a real jerk.
