Roman recycling

Many people out and about today on foot, bikes, cars or (noisy) motorbikes enjoying the first weekend of freedom.
We drove to the small town of Die an hour away. It still had the Roman city walls which were first built at the end of the empire to protect the city from Germanic invadors using stones recovered from temple columns, paving slabs, ... later additions from the middle age make it an interesting construction!
