Starlight

I was up before the crack of dawn this morning so headed down to Two Tree Island to take some photos of the ducks and geese that feed on the mud flats there. The plan was a fine one except there weren't any birds apart from the odd magpie and the ever present seagulls. I have no idea where they got to. Not to worry as it was a glorious morning so I put my wellies on and enjoyed the scene from the end of the slipway there, it being near to low tide. There's something that I just love about being alone in a wide, empty space.
