Iced Aquilegia

It has been a cool and fairly dull day today. I wish the sunshine would come back. Apparently it will be warming up again on Wednesday.

Also one of those days when I couldn't settle to anything. I put one of the aquilegia flower in the freezer yesterday and decided to have a look at it this afternoon. I had made the ice too thick so while I was waiting for it to thaw out a bit I also photographed the last fading tulips before all the petals fell (see extra).
