American Robin

This morning we were watching an American Robin picking around under one of our back pines.
He also availed himself of the water pan we put out each day.
I think, along with the robin, the bluebirds and the mockingbirds are the biggest drinkers.
Fresh water becomes a key commodity for these birds especially in summer when it’s almost always hot & sunny and rarely rains.
