Portland Dorset

Finally after 7 weeks we drove down to the coast - it’s about 40 minutes from us - such a joy - we’ve missed it so much ! 
Unfortunately Dorset council have closed all the car parks which meant even the huge Portland Bill car park was closed - people had parked in the road and even on the roundabout and some of them had been given tickets . I think this is wrong - there is no question of not being socially distant there . 
We walked on the promenade near the Cove House in and sat by the sea wall just to take in the atmosphere. So relaxing .
