SPIDERLING BALL

I spotted this ball of new spiderlings just inside my front gate. They were so small that at first I wasn't sure whether it was some moss or something from one of the trees that had been caught up in the web, but when I looked closer, and then when I touched the web and they all scattered (extra), I could see what it was. You may need to embiggen it to see more. I could have done with more sunlight for the photo - unlike some it's been grey, windy and overcast here.
