Empty Stanley

I had a doctor’s appointment in Central first thing which was all good.

Then met up with Allison as we’d planned to go check out Stanley. We’d been told things were winding down since we were last there in Jan ‘19, and with the protests and Covid, the economy has taken its toll on some shops. Some shops that had been there for two generations had closed down, it was quite sad really.

If any of you have been to Hong Kong and have visited Stanley markets, you would have seen this street bustling with people.

We browsed around, had lunch and Allison found some paintings that she really liked. She might go back on the weekend with her husband to purchase them.

Back to DB and a wonderful meal prepared by the men! What a lucky gal I am.
