Evening sky

Lizzie came round this morning bearing some wee Sweet Pea plants she’d grown from seed. I made coffee which we had in the little garden and having not seen each other for over eight weeks it was a joy to sit, at a safe distance from each other, and chat, and chat and more chat!! After which we set about planting up the sweet peas, I sowed ‘Bright Lights’ Chard seeds. We chopped out a rogue branch of Acer which had attached itself to the main root stock and added some fresh compost and fed and watered it. . L also gave me some of her mint and chives*
Mr H drove up to the Gliding Club to collect parachutes for re-packing. He said there were hoards of people on the Long Mynd, walking or just enjoying the fabulous views on this beautiful blue day.

Lovely to have dinner outdoors under the equally beautiful evening sky.

* The mint and chives. I used a few of the chive flowers on the salad. looked very pretty!
