Golden Start

Another golden start to the day,  I thought that the reflections in the empty marina were amazing as the wind was non existent. This would usually be full of visiting boats by the middle of May. In extras is further along to the left of the main photo.

I took the morning photo on the 18th May from the vantage point in the centre of the extra, high up behind the granite wall and just to the left of the square steeple.

As Izzy and Tilly are coming this afternoon and will stay for supper, I thought it would be a good idea to blip early.

The two African Sulcata Tortoises are out in the garden enjoying the sun. Hopefully they will feast on the fresh grass out there. We have left some areas for the grass and dandelions to grow especially for them and our one guinea pig.

The Year 11 work will come to an end on Friday for Miss T. It is a mystery what will happen next although she would like to get on with some creative ideas of her own. I hope that she will be able to.

We have come to 20 days with no new virus infections and only two left still recovering at home. Contact tracing and testing seems to have worked very well in a small island community.
