Cuckoo Flower

The grass verges up beside the Heritage Park have not been cut recently and among the rather lengthy grass there are hundreds of dandelions, daisies and these very delicate cuckoo flowers also known as lady's smock.

I went out early before it got too hot and the path round the loch too busy. Weed is beginning to grow at a rapid rate and I noticed that one of the male swans had a garland of the weed round his neck.

A spot of gardening then it got too hot for me so before I became a meal for the nasty wee bugs that fly around the garden I came back indoors for a wee snooze.
