Queen Victoria

I said something very stupid last night to my wife! I said shall we get up and do a sunrise shot of Queen Victoria, one of the Cruise liners  seeking shelter and a place to call home currently in Weymouth bay.

Yes came the answer.

The ships weren't best aligned but we did arrive in time to capture the ships lights on with the pre dawn glow behind.

The rest of the day has been busy for a change. I spent most of the morning proving I have lots to learn about bird photography. And this afternoon we had a pleasant walk along the eastern coast line of Portland scouting out a location for a Milky way shot later tonight (cloud permitting).

If it goes well that will be tomorrows blip.
