Dinner Time

I was clearing out a non-performing tub and in the soil were lots of vine weevil grubs.   I took a few out and put them on the table on which lives a large tray of plants and a load of ants.

Within a minute the ants were out and it took them no time to cart the grubs back to their nest for dinner.   Quite interesting to watch the action though I suspect the grubs weren't too chuffed!
