Pygmy Shrew

Lottie and I often see these tiny shrews on our walks. They are so tiny, about 5cm long, and have lovely little faces. 

Unfortunately they must be easy for cats to catch, all the ones we see are dead, but they have something about them which makes them unpalatable. Even Lottie just gives them a quick sniff and moves on, and she will sample most things!
