Pubs can open their dining areas now, but can only serve 10 people who maintain social distancing. The SPH says it’s not worthwhile for them since they’d need five staff for 10 people. So while I’d like to be at my favourite perch in the bar, instead this is a photo of the mural on the pub’s back wall. It features the brick chimneys and kilns in Sydney Park, St Peters station across the street and one of the park’s black swans in the form of a tyre. I’m not sure about the cat and the woman, and don’t recognise the bloke behind the bar.

I intended to try for a real abstract today. The result didn’t seem that interesting.
