Roadside tourism

Again, we were on the road at 7 o'clock for a long ride in the sun. Bert had mapped out a nice round from the Maas to Geleen and Sittard, to return home along the eastern border.
At a gas station we drank the coffee we brought because all the restaurants are still closed. That we could take a break at the gas station was purely coincidental. We shared our table with an old man on a bike, who told us that he cycles daily the same route. We had a nice chat each on the most far corners of the picnic benches. A positive effect of having a break just anywhere our the chats.

When we were near HQ we saw the OneTree from afar and were amazed at the crowds we saw. Contrary to what I said some time ago, I really do have an opinion now. It's just too many people in a totally wrong place. And beside that, there are special day campsites in the Netherlands for day recreation.
