Wagtail on reed

A little walk to the pond late in the evening yielded some nice bird photos. The sun was very low, so the foreground was in shadow, but the opposite shore was in beautiful light, providing a nice backdrop. In the main blip a wagtail, in the extra a tern catching insects just above the water surface.

The day didn't start well. I needed to help a heifer out of a bad position first thing in the morning and the force required was a little too much. The fields to be sown next were still not dry enough, so no hurry with that. Prepared the large pasture for use instead: brought the movable shed and mineral trough, arranged the water supply etc.
