Along The River Merwede ...

A busy day in Werkendam. Preparing a storyboard for an instruction video. A job indoors. Which was no punishment because outside it was cold, grey and raining.

But like yesterday, after lunch hour, the sun overruled the clouds and within a short time there was full sun, wind and a beautiful sky. So we went outside to the river Merwede trying to make some riverscape pictures.

The water in the river was high. And the inland waterway vessels carried westward had to brave the wind. That gave highly visible bow waves. The picture shows a typical everyday view along one of the many waterways in the Lowlands near the sea ... ;)
