One benefit of being at home  is that we hear the cuckoo all through the day. We only used to here it a few times during the summer, this year they are/she is calling constantly throughout the day. Either that or she thinks our cuckoo clock (more audible withthe door and windows open) is a rival and feel that she has to out-call him.
