Resilient

The alpine clematis looks so fragile, with its skinny stems and seed heads blowing about in the wind, but it somehow seems to escape most wind damage.

We've been on garden patrol today, moving the seedlings to the sheltered but less sunny spots. The wind is roaring in the nearby treetops. Hope they escape damage too. The crows seem to be enjoying it.
