big beak and little beak

The greenfinch have been regular visitors to my feeders this year and today they bought a youngster along as well. They were quite sweet with the young on joining the flight of 4 or 5 birds, they do like to stick together. The juvenile was also far more patient than the robin, blackbird and starling young.
The starling also popped in today but without the juvenile. We did find a young starling on the lawn decapitated and half eaten the other morning, it looks like it was hers unfortunately. It looked like the work of the jackdaw or magpie.
Thanks for the comments to yesterdays robin again, it's the first time I've mastered taking a small bird in flight and I am enjoying photographing them.
