A hoolie .....

...... is what's blowing outside tonight. Out in the open the wind is passing over the land at around 60mph but in our small sheltered corner it's nowhere near that. Nevertheless, our trees are getting tossed and blown. I thought that I would try an experiment to see if I could capture this so I tried photograohing a few trees in a gust. This Norwegian maple was the best of the bunch.

I achieved quite a lot today: amongst other things I made pizzas, bread rolls and a rhubarb pie...... then the element in the oven conked out before I had finished! Fortunately, I have a second small oven so I eventually managed to finish cooking everything. Phew!
