I Think I Can

A bit of an attention seeker here this afternoon; very gorgeous and fluffy being incredibly entertaining, this grey squirrel was out to steal as much food as possible from the feeders for his larder!

The plan was easy - up the tree, a few acrobatic feats across the swaying branches in the gusts of wind and down the hook - simples! This little great tit got a bit of a shock but very funny!! Getting back was a little more strenuous but he managed it with a full mouthful of food and proceeded to squirrel it away in little caches in the ground and in the tree bark. Having replenished his larder he then started a bit of grass cutting and filled his mouth with clumps of grass clumps of grass which he took up the tree and disappeared - am thinking that he was in nest building mode for the spring!

My laptop is back with a new hard drive..... yeeha!!!! but it has all been a bit rushed tonight to get the blip up!
