Unusual but normal

Met up with with Child No2 (the key worker) for a morning walk in Letcombe Regis - at a suitable social distance.

It was a hot, still morning; the deer at the farm were all hiding in the shade of distant trees, but the Canada goose, and her goslings, went for a short paddle.

First time I had been back to Letcombe since going to the Devil's Punchbowl last week, so it was interesting to see how well it is hidden in the folds of the landscape from this side.

A thatched house was having a bee problem in the roof space; so there was this passive bee removal operation going on.  A nice bit of normal everyday life in this rural community.
