Silly Saturday

Is it silly for the authorities to paint over a wall of graffiti? - after all, it soon gets replaced. However, although you can argue that it's very silly for people to paint graffiti on walls, I rather like this example which has recently appeared on a wall which had recently been "restored" to a plain finish. I spotted it on a recent walk and went back today as I decided that it would make a suitable Silly Saturday blip. It's on the wall of a pedestrian underpass beneath the Metro line.

I'm not sure what the artist was trying to represent (if anything in particular!): someone all in a tizz from a new love affair perhaps? It's probably silly even to try to speculate.

(Note: Despite appearances, it's a colour photo.)

Many thanks as always to admirer, our Silly Saturday host.
