Bye bye cystus

I planted this cystus a long time ago when the bed was covered in honeysuckle. It was therefore planted in the wrong place and I didn’t cut it back each year so the flowers were on the end of dead wood.

HtP and I were working in that bed today and we’ve removed it. It was quite sad but it was unrecoverable.

We’ve tidied the bed and then replanted it. It’s going to look amazing.

As we worked a robin and a blackbird were always close by.

We are both pooped now.
