A sad reminder

I am very fond of this dear little mousepad. It was given to me when we stayed at the Cordis Hotel in Hong Kong last November. We love Hong Kong and its people.

From our 36th floor window we could see the protestors and police confronting each other and tear gas being used against the protestors. It was shocking to watch.

I'm using this photo today because this mousepad has kept me company all day as I dealt with the endless files I blipped about yesterday. More importantly I am using it today because I feel so sad again for the people of Hong Kong.
