A gift

Last night we ate ham, egg and chips at the restaurant that specialises in English food, with an alternative Thai menu.  As we arrived home we were greeted by three little girls who thrust this doll into my hands. I told them it was lovely and went to hand it back, to my surprise I realised that they were giving it to me.  They had made the dress themselves, using glue that I could still smell.

We have been worried over the past couple of days as one of the cats vanished.   The last time we saw him he was limping.  It was a relief last night to find him sleeping on the lounge in the foyer.  We think he has muscle damage as he can easily move the leg, and will allow hubby to gently manipulate and massage it, but he can't put weight on it.  A friend had told us that he was back and that he had eaten three sachets of food.  We have no idea where he had been hiding as we had spent a lot of time searching for him.
