Petersham Park

I spend a lot of time in Petersham Park, as my journal will attest, but it is just one of my favourite places.
Despite many attempts to destroy Sydney, there are still dozens of places I love.
Back to this park, however, which is Edwardian style, with many pergola like structures and a stunning bandstand. 
This palm grove is unusual in that it has circular seating.
At one stage it seemed that it would be subsumed by the Westconnex, but an intense campaign by locals saw it saved.
