Fly Orchid

A hot sunny day today.  I returned to Latterbarrow NR to continue my search for a Fly Orchid and this time I was successful.  According to Lang; the plant secretes sex pheromones that attract male Digger Wasps which attempt to copulate with the flowers.  The plants are quite small and are hard to spot amongst the grass.  This was a first time sighting for me.
