My instinct was to give them a hug, not having seen them since pre-lockdown, having not seen the engagement ring, having missed them so much.

I'd have risked getting the virus tbh, but  it's not about us, it's about others it's about the common good.

but whilst i didn't get to give them a hug we did get to go wild swimming at a 2m distance.
