Stormy Saturday

A stormy day today. The sky went dark, the wind blew and the cows sat down in the field so I knew a storm was on the way.

In the distance I could see a grey rain cloud with a band of heavy rain. Whilst on the phone to my dad suddenly there was a thunder clap then hail and a downpour.

Within a few minutes the sky was blue and the sun was shining. The only evidence a storm cloud dissipating and the smell of rain. Or should that be the smell of wet grass?
