Peonies!

Our friend Janne brought them from her garden.

I got a call from a parent working at home, whose child is not a helpful coworker, wondering when I might reopen for children. After talking to Terri and reviewing the rules I applied for an emergency child care license. To make it work for me we’ll spend most of our time outside, only coming in to the kitchen and bathroom. The children will go home after lunch for their naps, after which I’ll sterilize everything. There will be fewer materials out, and it will feel strange to clean the sandbox toys, but I think it will be manageable.

Extra is my quarantine snack of choice. I usually go through a bag a month, lately it’s been a bag a week.
