(146) Urban Astronomy

Out for an early morning walk (very early) I spotted what I thought was a bright star low in the sky but soon realised it was in fact Jupiter. I was surprised at how bright it was against the rapidly lightening sky and even more surprised to see Saturn much fainter, but clearly visible, just to the left. Today's extra shots are a close-up of one of the many gorse bushes that are bringing extra colour to the landscape just now and of a less than healthy, but very tasty, treat for dinner - pork and caramelised onion sausages served with chips from the chippy :-)
