The new kid in town

I've subtly hinted at this in a few of my blips since January, however, it's now officially official. We had the tweleve week scan this morning, and all appears to be well so far. I think we've got a ninja baby in there, as (s)he seemed to be flipping about all over the place, however perhaps being prodded with the ultrasound monitor thinger does that to you. As a result, the scan picture isn't that good, however we were able to see clearer pictures on the monitor. It just seemed that whenever the sonographer went to take a screenshot to print, the wee bugger would move!

Mrs monochrome is doing well - she's a little tired, and despite not having been physically sick, she has felt quite nauseous over the past few months. The worst of the squiffyness seems to be passing now though, so all is good.

As many of you know, boab works on the same team as me, and we quite often joke about nicking each other's blips while out on our lunchtime "blander" (portmanteau of blip & wander for those not in the know). Well, it seems as though I've well and truely nicked his blip, considering his announcement last Thursday. It seems to be that at our work, these things always come in twos (and threes sometimes).
