Walkers.

Us. Oot n aboot with our younger son after he finished work for the afternoon. No social distancing problems. View across the valley to built up area and hills to the North. This is a version of our second longest daily walk undertaken our home; we’re still sticking to one walk a day most days, albeit that was relaxed recently.

Earlier we watched the First Minister’s
press briefing. First discussion on Test and Protect; the strategy for next steps in Scotland’s exit from Lockdown. So well explained. A lot of work has clearly gone on in advance of the Lockdown review on Thursday. It’s part of Scotland’s route map through and out of the crisis.

Back home our younger son attacked a broken buried fence post, concreted into bedrock a generation ago. We need this cleared for a replacement trellis panel. He made good progress chiselling and digging; finish another day.

We’d a quick dinner in the garden; the first eating from this weeks food shopping - my wife was at the supermarket before 7am again. Got a good haul.

Short Family FaceTime late on; and younger son had a CPD for teachers at 8pm by Zoom.
