65 years too late

Went on the bike to the farmshop this morning and went there by the old railway line which closed in 1961 (or possible earlier) and then a circuit round the woods making it 9 miles there and 6 back. The station here closed in 1955 but I found this pic of as it was when functioning.
It was the first railway in the north of Scotland (don't know where the north starts!) and was part of quite a network and some major  engineering because of the hills.
more info can be found by following the link.
I've posted a few blips from it before and will see what else I can find for the future.
Spent the afternoon in the garden doing a variety of things, mostly sitting on the patio, and a Zoom prayer meeting this evening
