Day 14: This Evening’s Sky...

Day 14.... of Alert Level 2... once again no new cases of Covid-19. Yay! Maisie has been overdue for a beauty treatment. She has been looking very shaggy. Groomer Sally and her team managed to fit her in for a thorough grooming session this afternoon. She now looks and smells lovely. I picked her up late afternoon and stopped on the way home to photograph the evening sky looking to the west up the Wairau Valley. The great news of the day is hearing that two young trampers lost for 18 days in Kahurangi National Park have been found alive with only minor injuries. There has been an enormous land and air search for them. We salute those folk involved with the search and, like people all around the country, are enormously relieved at such a lucky outcome.
