Post op day 3 Lunch

Subject matter a bit limited at the moment. Food supplied on disposable plates and bowls and plastic cutlery. So glad my roast dinner was tender and didn't end up in the bed with me! The staff are all so kind and caring which is even more important when noone is allowed visitors.
I've had great chats with the lady in the opposite bed who is a cardiology nurse from Norwich. Great to have a kindred spirit in the ward.
All tubing removed and beginning to totter across the corridor to use the facilities. Very unsteady. I do hope this gets better....I want to get back to sailing etc.
