Allotment border flowers in late May

It’s amazing what some rain at the weekend and three dry warm days has done for for the allotment borders. Lupins, delphiniums, daisies and Phacelia have all burst into bloom much to the delight of nectar and pollen feeding insects and to the human eye. All survived the rain and gales at the weekend and promise to give a much appreciated display for a month or so.
