a Scots life

Joan’s House

South Castle Street, Joan’s House is the little cottage on the right, she was one of the fish wives of St Andrews in days long gone. I’ve never been in it, but have visited the garden of the stone cottage next door, it’s small but beautiful.
We had quite a long walk after the performance earlier, just around the town. I had a long chat to the neighbour on the other side, she was telling me she’d had to call th police about the people through the wall from her, but more traditionally about noise!
