Great Blue Heron

The great blue heron does not spend much time at the lake each year but they do come in June and July. This is the first time in a while I have seen the heron at the lake. The super-zoom paid off in this shot as it was at about 130X to get his shot from across the lake. The day was another hot day, spring will be returning by the weekend with cooler temps .
