School Bell

The site of Chittering State School
                      1894-1952
The bell was built by the students of TAFE Art college, all thats left to mark the site of the old Primary School in the Chittering Valley, also known as the 'school by the lake'
The children originally rode to school on horseback or horse and buggy back in the day.
A wet day, just the right conditions for a ride through the chittering valley a quick stop at the Bakery for lunch at Bindoon, the drive home was quite the reverse, the sun shone and the skies were cloudy, a perfect day for us..
