Field Of Dreams

Abstract Thursday. Painterly. Ingeborg.

The movie from 1989 had music mostly from James Horner. There were a few others on the soundtrack, including China Grove. The 1973 song, is vaguely rooted in the real town in Texas, is not related to Asians, (song or town), but probably to the chinaberry trees plantation.
This blip shows the tractor plowing under the cover crop, for what will no doubt become a Field Of Corn. No pun intended. Created on the Wacom, with the the Art History Brush, Pastel option. I have purposely given detail to the tractor, for that down-home Portugal feel.

The people of the town are strange
And they're proud of where they came
Well, you're talkin bout china grove
~ China Grove, Doobie Brothers
