Just when I was leaving for my 5 km early morning walk, I heard the sound of flapping wings. I turned towards the lake, and a whooper swan was landing. Perhaps half a minute later a canada goose landed close to the swan. This was not at all acceptable for the swan, who started to chase the goose around the bay. After perhaps 2 minutes of chasing, the swan seemed to accept the situation, and peace prevailed. Such a strange interlude, but it enabled a nice blip :-)
